MODEL BUILDER IS THE ANSWER TO WHAT THE FINANCE INDUSTRY HAS BEEN CRAVING FOR YEARS. IT IS FINANCIAL SOFTWARE THAT SIGNIFICANTLY BOOSTS DAY-TO-DAY PRODUCTIVITY, WHILST ENSURING ERROR-FREE AND MORE EFFECTIVE ANALYSIS.
BACKGROUND
The tool solves many problems of financial experts and most importantly, it allows users to build error-free models. One of my many challenges was to design a flexible interface.
My solution provides an interface that allows users to effectively use variables.
Also, new Model Management avoids having multiple excel files and tabs and has a folder-based structure that allows users to work more efficiently by obtaining quick access to all the essential model components and sheets.
By combining my previous knowledge of how data scientists and healthcare researchers use spreadsheets, conducting UX research sessions with finance professionals, and identifying their pain points, I was able to design the tool that would have positive impact on financial modeling processes.
